Inspections of Cable & Ropeway Technologies

We inspect cableways and surface lifts, carry out magnetic cable tests, as well as complementary tests in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Austrian Ordinance on Cableway Inspections (Seilbahnüberprüfungsverordnung – SeilbÜV). This includes inspections of the cableway technology according to the Austrian Electrotechnical Association (ÖVE), and recurring fire protection tests.

Ropeway inspections and expert opinions

Key aspects of cable and cableway inspections include professional support for the reinstallation of cableways and surface lifts, as well as support for approval-exempt modifications (§20) in the fields of cableway technology and building construction. Furthermore, we establish safety reports, prepare cableway- and building-related technical reports, as well as safety analyses in the field of cableway transport.

We also carry out approval-exempt modifications in accordance with §20 in the field of cableway technology and building construction, ensuring safe operation and compliance with legal requirements.
