Conformity Assessment (Notified Body)
As an independent testing and certification body, we assess the conformity of construction products and cableway systems as well as their components in accordance with the EU Regulation on construction products and the EU Regulation on cableway installations.

Before (re-)commissioning a cableway, specific requirements must be met. Conformity assessment is required to verify whether the cableway complies with applicable standards and regulations. Depending on the requirements, a “Notified Body” may need to participate in the assessment process.

- Safety analyses: Risk assessment and determination of the scope of testing and manufacturing certificates.
- Conformity assessment: Certification in accordance with harmonized standards to ensure smooth market access (EU certificate of conformity with CE marking).

Building products
We provide initial testing and certifications in accordance with harmonized standards on the basis of the regulation on construction products in AVCP systems 1,2+ and 3. The certification body is responsible for testing the initial product, approving the manufacturing site, and carrying out regular audits. The required authorization and its maintenance are provided by the national accreditation body ‘Akkreditierung Austria’.
As a Notified Body, we carry out inspections, safety analyses, and conformity assessments for cableway systems.
